Healing isn't one-size-fits-all, and neither is Annie's approach. Every person who walks through her door, or joins a virtual session, carries a story shaped by experiences, relationships, and seasons that no one else has lived. Annie understands that what works for one client may not work for another, which is why she never relies on a single method or a rigid script. Instead, she draws from multiple evidence-based therapeutic modalities to craft an approach that fits your unique needs, your personality, and your goals.
With graduate training in both Marriage and Family Therapy and Theology, along with over a decade of clinical experience across private practice, school-based therapy, and ministry settings, Annie brings a rare depth and versatility to her work. She listens first, assesses what will serve you best, and then integrates the tools and techniques that will help you move forward, whether that means processing deep emotions, rewriting the story you've been telling yourself, strengthening your most important relationships, or reconnecting with your faith. You are not a diagnosis, a case number, or a category, and your therapy should reflect that.
Annie helps you encounter your personal story in a new way. Together, you'll externalize the problematic narratives that have kept you stuck and discover new meaning and purpose in the season you're in.
Annie guides clients toward expressing their primary emotions and needs. EFT is especially powerful for couples who feel disconnected, unheard, or caught in cycles of conflict.
Built on decades of research with thousands of couples, the Gottman Method helps you build what Dr. John Gottman calls a "Strong Relationship House", and learn to recognize and combat the destructive communication patterns known as the Four Horsemen.
With dual Master's degrees in Theology and Marriage and Family Therapy, Annie is uniquely equipped to bring faith into the therapeutic conversation for clients who desire it. She strives to let the Good Counselor, the Holy Spirit, work through every session.
